Welcome

Welcome to our website.  Lenka and I hope to create a meeting place for food enthusiasts to collect and share recipes, to share thoughts on food and wine, and to provide a source for information and instruction about cooking, and enjoying good food.

Moreover, we want to see people return to a place where food is a part of life, and to do our part in that process. Unrelenting marketing has led to the belief that cooking is too difficult, and food comes in boxes.  As if one needed further evidence: corporations are in the saddle, and they ride mankind.  There is nothing more natural than the act of cooking, and the cycles necessary for maintaining a functioning kitchen provide a beautiful rhythm to life. Time spent, cooking with and for loved ones, is always time well spent.

We look forward to your feedback and hope you come back often.

You will find our chats, and general running commentary on the world of food, on our blog here.

  1. Fantastic blog! Do you have any tips for aspiring writers? I’m hoping to start my own blog soon related with many kind of topics especially “health care articles” but I’m a little lost on everything. Would you propose starting with a free platform like WordPress or go for a paid option? There are so many options out there that I’m completely overwhelmed .. Any recommendations? Kudos!
