Saturday barbecue 7/7/2012

We did the Italian Hangar Steak (recipe is here), twenty minutes wrapped, eleven minutes each side grilled.

Starch: we went with Idaho Golden, done in the foil wrap recipe; russet are better.

Veg: we did broccoli and carrot, each in its own cast iron pan on the barbecue, prepped with virgin olive oil, sugar (broccoli only), salt, and pepper – and a tiny bit of butter.

Fantastic.
